Broadband Fiber Installer (BFI)

The Broadband Fiber Installer (BFI) certification describes the knowledge of an experienced technician who will install and maintain telecommunications services that are provided via fiber optics at residential and commercial locations. The successful certification candidate has the knowledge to carry out fiber to the premises installation and troubleshooting.

The BFI certification builds on the knowledge obtained via the Broadband Premises Installer (BPI) certification or equivalent work experience. Topics include:
