Description: The Broadband Premises Installation Fundamentals course provides the knowledge needed to install voice, video, and data services for residential cable telecommunications customers. The learner is introduced to industry cable networks and Installation, customerinteraction and how company image is affected, aerial and underground installations, bonding and grounding, and safe work practices.

Certification Exam Information:

Upon completion of all three parts of the Broadband Premises Installation (BPI) and Service Course learners will be prepared to earn the nationally recognized SCTE·ISBE Broadband Premises Installer (BPI) and/or the SCTE·ISBE Broadband Premises Technician (BPT) certifications. The certifications are designed for individuals interested in working in the cable telecommunications industry for a cable provider, contractor or vendor.
